Tinnitus
Are your ears ringing?
Tinnitus is a term used for the sensation of ‘ringing’ or ‘buzzing’ in the ears. It can also sound like a roaring, clicking, hissing or buzzing sound too and is defined as Tinnitus when there is no external sound present to cause the sensation.
It’s commonly referred to as a ‘ringing in my ears’ and is a symptom that something isn’t quite right with the auditory system which includes the ear, the auditory nerve and parts of the brain that process/control sound.
Something as simple as earwax blocking the ear canal can cause Tinnitus, but it can also be caused by all manner of health conditions including (but not limited to) noise-induced hearing loss, infections of the ears/sinuses, brain abnormalities, hormonal and thyroid changes.
Whilst Tinnitus is annoying, it can be effectively controlled with a range of different products.
